The 2nd round of the Competition, which took place June 2, 3 and 4 at the Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Centre, has come to a conclusion. At 6 p.m., the jury, headed by Galina Vishnevskaya, announced the names of the participants in the 3rd round. They are:

  • Aglatova Anna, soprano (Russia)        
  • Badalyan Khachatur, tenore (Россия)
  • Bazarguruyeva Ayuna, soprano (Russia)            
  • Gafner Vasily, tenor (Russia) 
  • Alexander Gontsa, baritone (Belarus)
  • Grig Victoria, mezzo-soprano (Russia)
  • Gushchenko Mikhail, baritone (Russia) 
  • Liberman Yevgeny, baritone (Russia)
  • Alexandra Maksimova, soprano (Russia)
  • Trenogina Tatyana, soprano (Russia)   
  • Filin Kirill, bass (Russia)       
  • Chimed Enhtayvan, baritone (Mongolia)

    The 3rd round takes place at the Opera Centre on June 6. The participants will be required to perform two operatic arias or scenes, one of which must be from a Russian opera. The future prize winners and recipients of diplomas will be accompanied by orchestra, under the baton of Yaroslav Tkalenko. The 3rd round begins at 6 p.m.
